performing Arts Co-Op
How Can Arts Organizations Dramatically Increase Their Audiences?
Visualize an arts-oriented promotional co-op. As a result of the co-op’s audience-building efforts, every organization in the co-op experiences steady increases in its total audience and total revenues.
One of the attributes that have allowed humans to dominate the planet, make progress in science and technology, and create civilization is community working together. A person alone is hard pressed just to survive. But when we band together, we can dream big and accomplish wonders.
In just the same way, a theater-maker alone -- a single artist, a single theater -- is hard pressed just to survive and can accomplish only so much. But working together, as a community of theater makers (the concept applies equally well to all performance arts), we can dream much bigger and accomplish much more.
This is the idea driving the Performing Arts Co-Op.
The Co-Op Will:

Make It Easier for Arts Audiences to Find Presentations They’d Like to Attend
Create a "Frequent Attender" Incentive Program Aimed at Audiences
